The Care Home is situated in Lansdowne Road towards the west end of Colwyn Bay, conveniently close to the A55 Expressway but well out of earshot of the traffic and business of the town, and it has its own adequate car park.
The Railway Station is within easy reach.
It is on the main London-Crewe-Chester-Holyhead line
with regular services also to Manchester via Warrington.
Bus Services, also within easy reach go to Chester, Rhyl, Llandudno and Conway together with local services.

The Home has recently undergone a complete modernisation and refurbishment programme,
including this new entrance foyer and reception area.
VISITORS are always welcomed. Please enter the front door and then ring the bell on the inner door for attention.

Patients are accommodated in single rooms with en suite facilities. Each room has a Televison and a direct line telephone. Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily.

There are also several lounges and a conservatory
for the use of patients and their visitors .

Meals are prepared in the modern and fully equipped kitchen by qualified staff.They are served to the patients in their rooms or in the Dining Room if they so prefer.. The menu is different each day and special diets are catered for as required. Attention is always paid to the personal preferences of the patients.


The Home has its own Laundry which is well equipped to meet all the needs of the residents quickly and efficiently.

There is always a fully qualified nurse on duty twenty four hours a day and the Home has a well equipped medical room.
The Convent Chapel plays a central roll in the life of the life of the Sisters of Mercy and indeed of the whole house. It is open to residents, staff and visitors who wish to pray or reflect quietly. The Sisters gather there several times a day to pray and Mass is celebrated there every morning. Residents and visitors may attend if they so wish but there is no obligation to do so.
Ministers from other Churches also visit the Nursing Home to take care of the spiritual needs of those who are not of the Catholic Faith.

Leave the A55 Espressway at the Rhos on Sea Sign. At the second traffic lights turn right. then take the first left. Go up to the next junction (St.Andrew's Church), turn left and the entrance to the Care Home is on your right just past the playing field..
